Excellent points! I would add that both parties, the Afghan Taliban and the American version, were and continue to be, incapable of creating a just society, or running a competent government. Corruption, political and moral, thrives in the dark. Hopefully this article and the continued exposure of atrocities committed by both parties will prove Gil Scott-Heron wrong; the Revolution will be televised.
